Gerri teaches sanitation and Bible classes in the countries in which PBM serves. While in Ghana, Gerri helped start women’s co-operatives, providing micro loans and business advice to ladies in the local villages. There have been high success rates, as the co-op members work well together encouraging each other to thoughtfully and prayerfully plan the details of starting and operating their small businesses. All the members repay their loans, inspiring those around them!
This co-operative method enables parents to pay their children’s school fees, women to start self-supporting businesses and helps to provide families with sustainable income.
